1. Who We Are

PetTax is a portfolio demonstration product of ABSRT LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a free educational tool that helps pet owners explore potential pet-related tax considerations based on publicly available IRS guidelines. We are not a tax preparation service, a licensed financial advisor, a veterinary service, or a government-affiliated entity.

2. What Information We Collect

We are committed to collecting as little information as possible — by design, PetTax collects no personal information at all. Everything you enter (pet names, expense amounts, filing status, AGI) exists only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session. It is never written to disk, transmitted to a server, or persisted in localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, or any other storage mechanism. Closing or refreshing the page permanently discards all entered data.

3. What We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Account credentials (there are no user accounts)
• Financial data persistence — calculations run locally and are discarded on close or refresh
• Location data
• Device identifiers (IDFA, GAID, or similar)
• Payment information
• Browsing history outside of PetTax

4. Cookies and Local Storage

PetTax does not set its own cookies, tracking pixels, or local-storage entries, and does not embed advertising tags or analytics SDKs. Your browser may set standard session cookies for normal web operation, but no such data is read, transmitted, or used by us.

5. Third-Party Services

The App loads typography from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) as part of its visual presentation. Google may collect standard request information when serving those font files. Please review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for details. No other third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks are integrated into PetTax.

6. Data Sharing

Because we do not collect any personal information, we have nothing to sell, rent, share, or trade. No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics platforms, or any other third party.

7. Data Retention

PetTax retains no user data. Information you enter during a session is held only in your browser's memory and is permanently discarded when you close or refresh the page.

8. Children's Privacy

PetTax is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Because the App collects no information from any user, this protection is satisfied by design.
